Semester 1 - Week 4
· This week, I am doing research on the technology that I needed to use for my project. I did some reading about how to write SQL scripts and SQL procedures, so I can write triggers in SQL server. I also run through some MSDN examples about how to do replication between SQL server and SQL CE. Some of the examples I went through are actually written VB.NET, although I only have brief experience on VB.NET, but I found it quite interesting to play with VB as well. I started to decide the UI of the inventory management tool, and the database structure. I thought about what addition table I need to add to the existing database in order to fulfill my SQL query.
