INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

The objective of the Inventory management tool is to provide instant data retrieval to the user. It consists of a number of features and they are described below.

l            Used by tradespersons while they are “on the road”.

l            Retrieve detailed product information by querying the inventory database.

l            Retrieve the stock level in the warehouse, on vehicle, or on order.

l            If a product is on order from the supplier, this tool can be used to retrieve the date due of the order.

l            Integrate with other module to process sales transactions, or place orders to the suppliers.

l            Clear and simple display for user navigation including query and filtering

For example, the tradesperson can use this tool to find out the total number of “baked beans” available in total, how many cans of “baked beans” are stored in warehouse, in which warehouse are they stored in. Also, he can find out how many cans of “baked beans” are on order from suppliers, and how many cans of “baked beans” are currently on delivery to a customer.
