Case-Based Reasoning on the lighter side. Well, okay, so it isn't as exciting as a day at Disney World with a group of eight year-olds; but it is always interesting. From the ai-cbr featured researcher to little diversions (our staff's pick of web sites offering useful free applications, fonts, or just downright odd things) we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy! ai-cbr features research papers for downloading. Classic, current or sometimes controversial, these papers are essential reading for anyone involved in case-based reasoning. Noteworthy past papers can be found in the CBR Hall of Fame. (Webmaster's Note: We can't add your papers if we don't have the paper's URL, so be sure to submit it to us on the ai-cbr Information Form).

featured book

We'll recommend great books for you to read and guide you to where you can buy them online. Of course we'll recommend any new CBR books that come out, but we'll also recommend general AI, machine learning, Internet and programming books, and once in a while a book to curl up and relax with. The featured book is regularly updated, so come back often. If you've read a book that was really helpful - for example the only book on Java that made any sense to you - why not tell us using the ai-cbr Information form and we'll feature your choice and say that you recommended it.

applying case-based reasoning

APPLYING CASE-BASED REASONING: techniques for enterprise systems - Ian's book is being hailed as, "a MUST have book for anyone in the case-based reasoning community." We have to agree -- really, we do have to agree, our jobs depend on it. You'll find a description of the book, a full table of contents and ordering information here.

photo reports

ai-cbr attends all the major CBR conferences and workshops (and other AI conferences) and writes a report on the meeting complete with photos and links to papers you can download. So even if you couldn't attend you can virtually be there.

cbr bibliography

When you're writing your next research paper wouldn't it be great if you could search a bibliographic database of approximately 700 publications on CBR. Well you can using the ai-cbr bibliography. You can search by authors, titles, and key words and even download copies of the papers (when available). If your recent publications are not listed you can add them to the bibliography.

As an additional bibliographic service we regularly send out details of new CBR and CBR-related journal and conference papers via the ai-cbr mailing list. So to keep in regular touch with all that's happening in the CBR world join the ai-cbr mailing list.
