Tests and Exams: COMPSCI 230 Semester 2, City Campus

Information about the exam will not be posted here. You should look in the University's Exams area to learn about current procedures, room scheduling, etc.

1. For illness during exams (or other problems that affect exam performance) you MUST contact the Examinations Office within ONE WEEK of the last affected examination to apply for an aegrotat pass (for illness) or compassionate pass (other problems). THE ONE WEEK LIMIT IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Questions from tests and exams given in prior offerings of COMPSCI 230 may help you uncover some defects in your understanding of important topics, especially if you attempt the questions before looking at the answers. However if you study solely from these tests, you are likely to get very poor marks in this course for the following reasons:

• different instructors will cover somewhat different material, in somewhat different ways, in each of the four themes of this course, and
• different instructors will examine you in different ways.

Instead of "studying to a test" (from a prior semester), you really should be studying the course material as it was taught this semester!
