Note that a pass in both coursework and the exam is required to pass this paper. This means if you get less than 50% in the assignments you may fail the paper regardless of your examination mark.

Presentation Schedule for Literature Reviews and Projects

The schedule for the literature review and project presentations will be available on the Topic List page. These presentations are a major part of the course and we expect you to turn up, listen and ask intelligent questions. Remember that you must answer an exam question on a literature review topic other than your own.

Literature Reviews - 30% of final grade

Literature review interim report (5%) due 22 March, 5pm.

Literature review final report (15%) due 12 April, 5pm.

Draft seminar slides (5%) due 12 April, 5pm.

Presentation (5%) You will give a presentation, coordinated with the other students who reviewed the same topic, during class as shown on the Topic List 2013 page.

Projects - 30% of final grade

Project interim deliverables (5%) due 3 May, 5pm.

Project final deliverables (20%) due 17 May 24 May, 5pm.

Project Presentations (5%) Your project team will give a presentation during class as shown on the Topic List 2013 page.

As much as possible we would like you to do a Literature Review with one of us and Project with another. This gives you a wider range of experience. NOTE you must not 'double-dip' and choose a literature review or project topic that is the same, or closely related to, the topic you are doing in another course or project.
