HazApp - The Geospatial Hazard Management System

HazApp is a smartphone/tablet and desktop application which will utilise mapping technologies to allow Opus employees and contractors to report work hazards on-site. This will reduce the need for paper-based hazard reporting and through utilisation of a single centralised database, will allow for powerful statistical analysis. Hazards will be reported with a short description, a geolocation, and photo(s)/video(s). After reporting a hazard a user will receive useful advice and mitigation techniques to best handle the problem. Hopefully this will lead to better working and business practices as well as an increased understanding of causes of hazards for Opus.
