week1-2: Project title been settled by Dr. Mano, on motion detection for surveillance; Meet Prof. Reinhard;Regular Meeting with Prof. Reinhard and Eric Song;Went to Compucon with Eric and attended the seminar given by TN, had a chat after and bring back the camera;attended the seminar given by Dr. Yan from AUT, on intelligent video surveillance, and a tutorial on using openCV.

week3-4: The final title has been settled down, Gesture detection in video surveillance; got a co-supervisor Prof ZeZhong Xu invited by Prof Reinhard;

week5-6: Learning basis of using openCV, working on understanding the random forest and hough forest; mount the camera successfully at home

week7-8: Lab access gained finally and have the camera installed; had a discusstion with group on how many situation that needed to be consider; had a contact with master student on understanding Hough forest.
