About Bridgestone

Bridgestone Head Office in Tokyo Bridgestone New Zealand Limited was formed in September 1998. The formation of the company followed the merger of two of the world's premier tyre companies: Bridgestone and Firestone.
Both the Bridgestone and Firestone names are well known and most people will at least recognize the name and associate it with tires. The Bridgestone Group stays strong to its roots and bases its philosophy on four goals given by the initial Japanese company.
Seijitsu-Kyocho [Integrity and Teamwork]
Shinshu-Dokuso [Creative Pioneering]
Genbutsu-Genba [Decision-Making Based on Verified, On-Site Observations]
Jukuryo-Danko [Decisive Action after Thorough Planning]

Their website describes themselves as being:
"Synonymous with quality and renowned by drivers all around the world, Bridgestone is the mark of a truly outstanding tyre. This distinction is reflected in the range of excellent car tyres, 4x4 tyres, van tyres and commercial tyres available here in New Zealand. Comfort, performance, durability... whatever you're looking for, Bridgestone tyres are the ultimate compliment to your driving experience."

It is an honor to be working with such a large company, and to be able to experience how they handle projects in a business environment.
