My research process began by first looking at other companies that had attempted the same sort of project that I am working on. From these other projects I began to form the basis of my requirments document, with the end goal of a final requirments document that would contain all the infomation I about all the tasks my end system would produce. From these inital requirments I started to diagram, I began with simple use-case diagrams for the overall tasks and getting deeper into the main ones with activity and sequence diagrams. While diagraming I was continuously analyising and updating by requirments, untill I finally produced my final document. Of course this is not really the final one, as the development process can cause me to come back to this stage later with new tasks to add.
