Ongoing documents delivered and project status

Delivered Documents:

18/03/2005 - Delivered the Project Proposal. This document was created to bid for the prefered project. Each team was assigned a project based on this document. We were offered our first choice.

09/04/2005 - Delivered the Project Schedule. A document describing the current system, the proposed system, the project scope, project plan, risks and contengencies and a description of the activities

09/04/2005 - Delivered the first Project Presentation.

18/04/2005 - Vision and Scope document delivered to Optimation.

28/04/2005 - Requirements document stating all the client requirements delivered.

07/05/2005 - Delivered the second Project Presentation - Project Specifications Presentation

07/05/2005 - Delivered the Project Specification Document - Including screen flows, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, ERD's, approach to testing, documentation and development. This was a 88 page document

30/05/2005 - Feature list finalised and sumbited. The development will be based on this document

01/07/2005 - Class diagrams reviewed and finalised

01/07/2005 - Development has begun

08/09/2005 - All the features completed

09/09/2005 - Started work on GUI

26/09/2005 - All user interface design completed

29/09/2005 - Technical documentation completed

30/09/2005 - Technical documentation handed to supervisor and sponsor

04/10/2005 - Final sponsor presentation delivered

04/09/2005 - Project fully completed and handedover

08/09/2005 - Preparing for exhibition

Project Status:

We have collected the requirements stated by the sponsor.

We have finished the analysis phase which included creating use-case diagrams, ERDs, sketch of the user-interfaces and the business logic.

Feature list involves all the features of the system. The system will be developed based on this list.

We are using Laszlo to create all the websites. The back end will be developed using web services. All the business logic will be integrated into the services. Laszlo script will be embedded into ASP.NET as ASP.NET provides inbuild Forms Authentication and Sessions.

All the features have been completed. The GUI for all the web pages has been completed as well. A final presentation was delivered to Optimation on 4th Oct 05. The exhibition was held on the 13th Oct 05. The project is officially completed!
