Clearfield Knowledge Solutions has been in operation within New Zealand for over a decade.  They are a technology-oriented firm focusing on java-based transaction processing solutions and consulting.

The recent growth in e-commerce has been a growth industry for Clearfield, with the needs of many e-commerce firms being adequately supplied by Clearfield technology.  They actually describe themselves as being:

“In the engine room of e-commerce”

However, the nature of their products make marketing difficult.  Every solution will be tailored to each customer.  So it impossible for Clearfield to show each customer exactly what the system will do, or what it will look like.

Documentation is always useful, but often difficult to use to convey complicated ideas or pieces of functionality.  This is where the TMS Marketing Project will come in.

By designing and building demo applications that show specific functionality, potential customers will be able to see, and even use, items of functionality that will be put into place in their systems.

This is likely to play a vital role in helping the team at Clearfield to sell their technology.
