The topic of my Master's thesis was Fast Polygonization Methods for Quasi-Convolutional Smoothed Polyhedra. I completed my PhD titled Visualization of Tensor Fields in Bioengineering in 2004. My supervisors were Dr. Richard Lobb and Prof. Peter Hunter from the Bioengineering Institute.

Hobbies

My favourite pastime is tramping. You can have a look at my favourite tramps in New Zealand.
I also love travelling, especially in South-East Asia. Have a look at some of my travel photos.

Some of the nicest people I have met in Taiwan and South Korea. Other favourite destinations are Thailand, Malaysia (Most Unforgetable: Sabah's Mossies!) and Anhui province in China
Furthermore I enjoy all kinds of sports (gym, running, table-tennis, tennis, badminton, ...) and good music (Chinese and Korean pop music, musicals, classical music, rock, alternative music, ...). During my studend years I was a member of the Auckland University Tramping Club, the Auckland Oversea Christian Fellowship (both are highly recommended!!), the Auckland Singapore Association, and the Auckland University Team Handball Club.
For a short introduction into Team Handball click here.
You also might want to have a look at me favourite musicals and singers (scandelously out of date :-p).
