Assignments: COMPSCI 601/602 Semester 2 City/Tamaki Campus

All reports must be registered before the mid-semester break. Registration consists of submitting a 2 page document containing the following information:

• Proposed Title
• Student name, ID, and UPI
• Stage 3 course enrolled in
• The name of the lecturer supervising your project
• Abstract of not more than 500 words describing the proposed topic of the report
• At least 3 research references on which the report will be based
• Summary of the material in one of your references

Failure to provide an adequate proposal will result in the FAIL grade for this course.

Due date: 5pm Thursday March 28th, 2013. Submission is via Cecil Dropbox

The report is to present a survey of a topic relevant to the Stage 3 course enrolled in. It will be graded according to whether or not it demonstrates an understanding of the topic and the main research publications relevant to it.

All submissions must include the following details:

• Title
• Abstract
• Summary of material in one reference
