My research interests include construction informatics, the application of legal informatics in the domain of AEC/FM (Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Facility Management). My doctoral research (2012-2015) investigated a practical approach to automating conventional compliance audit processes, which was demonstrated with a proof-of-concept use case on performance-based methods for compliant design of fire safety in buildings. I also have research interests in the design and operation of buildings and building systems. I'm keen to explore collaboration and synergy with researchers in these fields.
