Monica R. R. Bian

I am currently a Master student at the University of Auckland under the supervison of Dr Yun Sing Koh and Prof Gill Dobbie. Prior to this I worked as Software Developer for Meridian Energy in Christchurch for more than two years.

Research Interest

My current research interests are in the following areas:

  • Frequent Graph Mining
  • Data Stream Mining
  • Concept Drift Detection

Project

My thesis is focused on mining frequent graphs for data streams, including tasks such as frequent substructure mining, concept drift detection, and mining in data streaming environment. I am specifically interested in developing efficient and effective methodologies for frequent graph mining considering varying severity of drifts in data streams. I am currently in the process of applying for PhD study at The University of Auckland and my PhD research interest stay in the area of frequent graph mining for data streams.
