Doctoral Candidate - Doctor of Philosophy

Rehab is a PhD candidate at the University of Auckland. She is working under the supervision of Prof. Pat Langley, Dr Pat Riddle and Dr Grant Searchfield. She is working in Brain Computer Interface (BCI), in cooperation with the Faculty of Medical and Health Science. The proposed research aims to utilize BCI and data mining schemes to enhance patients' experience while using assistive technology. BCI systems are designed to open a direct communication channel between a human brain and a computer by the means of the electrical signals produced by neurons when activated, allowing humans to control devices without any physical effort. Prior to this, Rehab received a master degree in Creative Technologies from Auckland University of Technology with the first class honor.
