30 October 2017
Teaching digital technologies? Win a $1000 scholarship to study our course which will help with teaching NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3.

For the past three years school teachers from all over Auckland have enrolled onto COMPSCI 101: Principles of Programming course during our Summer School (January - February) to up-skill and gain confidence in teaching digital technologies subjects at NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Our department is funding 10 scholarships (worth approximately $1,000 each) for teachers to follow in their footsteps at the 2018 Summer School (4 January to 14 February 2018).

To be in with a chance to win, tell us whether or not you currently teach digital technologies.

  • If you do, please tell us what you teach, at what level and why you think you should be awarded a scholarship.
  • If not, tell us how one of these scholarships will benefit you and the students at your school.

Please fill out the entry form and click 'Submit' to be eligible for the competition.

Note: the COMPSCI 101 course is unavailable for those from correspondence schools.

Competition entries close 13 November 2017 at midnight and winners will be notified on Monday 21 November 2017 via email.
