This is a 15-point single semester course which gives an introduction to some of the connections between mathematics and computer science, and the mathematics of the discrete structures that lie behind commonly used concepts in computer science. Major topics include numbers and divisibility, graphs and trees, sets, relations, functions, induction and recursion, counting/enumeration, logic, and methods of proof.
