Tutorials and Labs
You need to attend one lab and one tutorial per week. They are both two hours long, and we will be checking attendance, which will contribute to your final mark
Tutorials are times in which we will go into more depth with the ideas presented in lectures, but also they are times where you can get personal attention on the concepts, there will always be either Shane or Daniel in attendance, and you shoul make the best of the time by asking them any questions you want answered. These are also good times to discuss the assignments if you need help.
Labs are for you to practise what you have been taught in lectures. You will be assigned short problems to solve, and you will have a chance to consult Shane or Daniel regarding these problems.
labs are now being held in the ground floor teaching labs (old postgrad labs), except for 25/01/06 and 09/02/06, when they will be held in the FCL or BCL as before
Tutorial Times

Tutorials are for you to develop practical skills and to ask questions. Tutors
will always be around to help. During each tutorial, you will be given a chance to gain deeper insight into the topics covered.
During Labs, you will get a chance to practice the skills you have been taught.
We will have 3 tutorial sessions and 3 lab sessions per week starting the week of the 9th.

Due to the over enrolment in certain streams, you may attend any stream, but you must attend one tutorial and one lab per week
