New Zealand Information Security Forum (NZISF) cordially invites you and your friends to the April 2013 breakfast meeting:
Topic: Cybersecurity: why it matters for New Zealand
The Internet is bringing extraordinary benefits - economic, social and cultural - to New Zealand. The ubiquity of enhanced connectivity is also bringing cybersecurity risks. Cybersecurity issues have become a priority issue for many jurisdictions, with a sharp rise in reported APTs, a significant lift in cybercrime, and ongoing questions about the vulnerability of critical systems.
New Zealand is not special - to the extent these problems affect other developed economies, they also affect us. Good cybersecurity preparation counts for much - this presentation will describe New Zealand's response.
