Project Overview
My project is to create a solution for Opus to manage communications for various projects between various parties. These communications are the job tasks required by both Opus and external contractors. A communication is a task that is then allocated to a member of staff internally or a company externally. When these communications have been dealt with or work has been done on that task, an Activity is added to that task explaining the activity that has been done. The status of the communication is also important and these include Open, Closed, Waiting and Expired.
The Goal
The goal of my project is to design, create and implement a new OpusCOMMS system
that can be used both internally and externally to Opus. This new OpusCOMMS system
must be user-friendly and enhance user experience. A new database is also to be
created for the new system, so that data can be contained in a centralized area.
