Introduction
Every year the BTech 451 Honor students are required to take up a project on a specific problem and to implement a solution for that problem. My name is Afshaa Sacranie and my project is with the Invasive species specialist group
The Project
To create an online Bibliography Database and an online Skills Register that will aid the Invasive Species Specialist Group(ISSG) in carrying out their information exchange and networking activities. The Bibliography Database will act as a data magement system that allows users to gain access to articles, journals, reprts, etc. on various types of invasive species. The Skills Register will be a list of invasive species practitioners or experts and global stakeholders and their skills, users can browse the list to find a particular person. A blog is required as well to link the Bibliography Database and the Skills Register, through the blog people can ask quentions and give answers and carry out discussions. Activities on the blog may lead to either a resource in the Bibliography Database or to a person in the Skills Register
