Surveillance is the monitoring of the behaviour, activities, or other changing information, usually of people and often in a surreptitious manner. It most usually refers to observation of individuals or groups by government organizations, but disease surveillance, for example, is monitoring the progress of a disease in a community.
About This Project
The theme of this project is about the transition of technology from analogue to digital and finally to end-to-end Internet Protocol for video surveillance, and all forms of security related systems. The student shall research about the progress of technology evolutions, current penetration rate of each in New Zealand, and works being done for expediting the migration of technology platform. Deliverables from the student shall include written reports, presentation files, white papers or marketing articles at an industrial and business level.
