Project Title:
Online data retrieval

Project Descrpition:
The institute requires a database and a website working together to store and retrieve the
information that is displayed on the NZahead website. Currently they have no digital way to store the information and when
there is a update of the website, the past data is gone, so there is no way to retrieve and compare past data.
With the implementation of the new website, past data retrieval will be possible.
Also, there will be visualisation tools implemented to make the data more interesting for the users.
The ISSG requires a webpage to provide information about the invasive species located around the world.
Given a database of information, the website will provide the user with the functionality of retrieving information
in various categories.
The ISSG will have a larger database, and data will be given on access format, which may later be migrated.
Project Goal:
To develope the tool using ASP.NET, C#, SQLserver and Silverlight.
The database of ISSG might need to go through re construction for faster querys.
The prototype will go through testing.
