This is a program we(Lobster team from COMPSCI780) developed with Macromedia Director. Shockwave is required to run it.

The topic is Discovery Of Lobsters so the goal is to inform users about lobsters. Give them a better understanding about lobsters in different aspects in depth. We introduced lobsters in 5 main sections: Lifecycle, Types & Geographics, Reproduction, Dangers, Lobster Industry. There is also an FAQ as well as a Quiz section. You may find the site map and some simple instructions in Help page.

Lobster team members: Deon(me), Pelle, Hitesh and Muthu. 4 students from COMPSCI780. This project took us 1 month to develope. I got some help from my friend Ching too in graphics design.

Before we started we had no idea about design and Director so we had to start with learning Director from 0. However we still managed to implement this program in such short time frame and for that we are very pround of ourselves.

We got positive feedback from users as well as our lecturer. Around 90% of users think this program is very interesting and well designed. The lecturer gave us 28.5/30, given the average in class is 18/30.
