Helen Gu, PhD student in Health Informatics

I'm a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and the National Institute for Health Innovation.

My office is on the 3rd floor of the School of Population Health building (building 730, 356 c1 3) at the Tamaki Campus in suburban Auckland.

My PhD supervisors are Prof. Jim Warren and Dr. Alexei Drummond. My research topic is Human Genetic Variation Knowledge Management.

Other Roles and Responsibilities

I am tutoring COMPSCI 220 in this semester. I'm also working at the Tamaki library. I am the UoA Tamaki contact in organizing New Zealand Computer Science Research Student Conference 2008 at this moment.


My Biography

I am working on a PhD through the Department of Computer Science with the National Institute for Health Innovation at the University of Auckland. I did my Bachelor of Arts in Editing and Publishing, as well as my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology at The University of Science and Technology of China. I got my Master of Information Systems at The University of Tasmania.
