A Quick Guide to PhD Admission
This checklist will guide you through the admission process.
- Make sure you meet the University of Auckland entry requirements.
- Complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) as part of the doctoral application process.
- Find a supervisor from the Computer Science Department.
- Send a research proposal and supporting documentation to the Computer Science Department's PhD Coordinator.
- Your application will be assessed by the Department's PhD Committee, Associate Dean (Postgraduate) of the Science Faculty and the Board of Graduate Studies.
- When your EOI is approved, complete the admission process on Student Services Online.
- You will receive a letter confirming an offer of place.
- To complete your enrolment contact the School of Graduate Studies.
