Biography

I did my BSc(Hons) at University of Otago in Mathematics, then my PhD at University of Washington in Computer Science. I was a Lecturer, and later a Senior Lecturer, in Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington. I took up my current position as Associate Professor in February of 2002.

Research Areas

What I am really interested in is ways to make the production of code more efficient. This has lead me into the areas of Software Metrics, Software Reuse, Object-Oriented Development, Tool Development, Software Visualisation, Usability, and Business Processes.
